Hope, BC is a small tourist town located in western BC only 150 kilometers (93 miles) from Vancouver. Although Hope only has a population of just over 6,000 people, hundreds of thousands of people visit the area every year.
The Hope community was founded in the 1840s and has been welcoming travellers and entertaining visitors ever since. Hope itself is a rather undeveloped town, but that’s actually part of its charm. The surrounding landscape is instead the highlight and the lack of development has kept the area pristine.
